Where should TankBoost be fitted in an air source heat pump system?
When installing TankBoost in an ASHP (air source heat pump) system, it is essential to remember that an unvented hot water cylinder must also be installed. TankBoost should then be fitted between the mains water supply and the unvented cylinder. Fitting TankBoost after the mains water supply ensures that water pressure and flow entering the unvented cylinder will be boosted up to either 3.0 Bar and 80 L/min or 5.0 Bar and 120 L/min and therefore improve the water performance throughout the system.
